As you know, Strategists Advancing Equity Group is committed to enhancing the lives of individuals from marginalized backgrounds. We recognize systemic injustice and medical racism as drivers of the persistent disparity in health outcomes that marginalized communities face today.
Thus, a key initiative in our 2024 strategic plan is to provide support to clinical and translational research teams in all phases of the research lifecycle. Our approach is founded in Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) theory. We believe that careful and considerate engagement of diverse voices throughout the research lifecycle can begin to restore trust between the medical establishment and marginalized communities, while building the capacity of research teams to identify and address contextual factors that influence an individual's willingness to engage in research.
SAE Group has partnered with Outfront Agency, a minority business enterprise certified media services company with over 10 years of experience helping organizations to increase their reach into, understanding of, and positive impact on communities of color. Together, our services leverage research, data, visual and print media, and emerging technologies to accelerate equity for historically marginalized populations.
